There seems to be a ribbon cable that connects the "factory" usb ports (horribly positioned on the bottom-front of the tower, facing downward, I digress). The reader is an easy and quick installing to extend more PCMCIA/ Cardbus card devices for any desktop PC. I can't find anything like that on my mobo. The cable that connects to the mobo is a 10-pin (actually 10 9 holes 1key). I'm trying to install a multi-card reader in the front panel of my Dimension 8400. ![]()
